I'm hopeless at keeping track of my units, so got a bit miffed when I lost my Night Gobo's to a poor armour save last week, only to find out later that I'd paid for their shields which could have saved them! How many times have we all done that?!
Shield Upgrade >>> Phase III - Wash with GW Undercoat Black, then GW Scorched Brown to add some varying shading depth. Still playing around with painting styles and colours, it's all good fun experimenting! ... Walts
