Painted 1987 and given to my mum. One of the earliest figures I had ever painted. Picked up in a random figure box GW used to sell. A good way of getting different figs to try your painting out on. When the paint pallet was small, most colours required blended - especially the skin tone. Designed the shield pattern myself. The base was trying to represent marble - grey base with added highlight in green detail in black as the grey paint still wet help the colours bleed into one another.
