This is still to be worked out exactly how it will be played.
I would suggest, after talking to some of the players on Sunday, that we play it as a normal 4' x 4' game.
EXCEPT :
Each player places 4 containers each.
The board has a building in the centre (the control tower) worth 10 VP a round.
Side with the most infantry inside controls objective.
There are some landing pads around the control tower. These would be the only terrain apart from the containers and the control tower.
All troops enter from their edge, ( rather than deploy and then activate ).
No troops may enter the table closer than 30 cm to a corner.
The Spaceport will count as two sectors for victory conditions.

Any opinions....alternative ideas.
Added (22-Sep-2013, 8:28 PM) --------------------------------------------- This is to be played next week.
anyone disagree with previous ideas ???
Ross is bringing in some Necromunda terrain for landing pads. ( hopefully 4)
i will bring in a building to represent the control tower. (2 TP)
Giving 6 TP.... if there are 16 containers ( +8 TP) = 14 Terrain pieces total.
All blocking terrain, so it should be plenty.

Hi
I would suggest that this is play tested rather than inflicting it upon payers during the campaign....just a though .

Quote (pavlov) I would suggest that this is play tested
Why ?
All players will be in the same position, so its fair.
And all players who play it from that point in the campaign will use the same set-up.
So no one is at a disadvantage. Added (23-Sep-2013, 2:21 PM) ---------------------------------------------

Whats being inflicted .....
The chance to score 60 VP ?
A table with 16 containers worth 100 RP each a turn ? ( potential 9600 RP over 6 turns ! )
Capturing a sector that counts as 2 sectors ?
The only thing being "inflicted" is ramping up the pressure on players to WIN !

I take it that if only two players are involved there will only be 8 containers. More players means more cover. Sounds reasonable!

Actually no.
There would always be 16 containers, no matter how many players were involved.
The scenario expects 4 players to attend, so there should not be less cover because there are less players.
But more spoils because other players have wimped out.
Do you see any problems with the scenario ?

Not at all.
As we have no Umpire , any decisions must be made face to face on Sunday.
A group decision by all the people taking part in the campaign who either turn up, or alternatively chip in any ideas on the forum.
(if they cannot make it in, i'm sure their opinions will be taken into consideration. )Added (23-Sep-2013, 10:16 PM) ---------------------------------------------

What exactly do you see as a problem ?
Is it too scary for you ?

Quote (zellak) there should not be less cover because there are less players. Not convinced but will go along with majority. Realise this might not be consistent with views expressed by me elsewhere but I'm trying to put my opinions out there more than I have before.Added (24-Sep-2013, 7:42 PM) ---------------------------------------------
Quote (pavlov) So it's FIFO for this campaign. Why are you bothered if you're not playing? Is it a "dad thing"? Not being bitchy honest

Hi
Yes it is a dad thing, but rest assured it will be the last as it will most likely be his last at43 campaign and possibly his last run at at43.
