The 2022 40K Challenge League is open.
Though we dont know the result of the Tournament final yet.
Champion ; Peter ( GSC ) or Johnstone jnr ( Necrons )

2nd Division ; Liam ( U/m ) / Ian W ( DE ) / Andy ( Necrons )

How does it work ?
.
You challenge a player of your own Division to a game.
.
If you win, this gives the right of challenge to a player in a higher Division, if you win then you go up and they go down.
Players can decide between themselves how many Points or Power levels to play...and which Scenario.
.
If they cannot decide then there will be a default scenario ( which me and Ian W are going to playtest next Sunday )
80 PL / 6 CP / no free relic / 100 VP total ( 80 VP objectives / 10 VP Slay the Warlord / 10 VP for a fully painted army ) .
First Blood for a Tiebreaker.
.
This will be played on a 6' x 4 ' table, 4 objectives 18" from the centre, one in each deployment zone and 2 along the centreline.
Dawn of War set up Deploying along the long edges, more than 12" from the centre.
Players placing up to 6 terrain pieces each on the table, alternating one at a time. Not on top of Objectives.

Players dice off and winner can choose to attack or defend.
Defender chooses a side and place his first unit.
Both players place alternately until all units are in the deployment zone or in a transport vehicle in the deployment zone.
( Noted to the opponent as the transport deploys. ).

All troops not in the deployment zone ( or on transports in the deployment zone ) are considered dead.

Dice off, winner must go first.

Scoring, ............................... Players score 5 VP in their own Command Phase for each objective they control.
You cannot score for objectives on turn 1.
There are 5 turns played with 4 objectives , so 80 VP in total are possible.
10 VP for having your army fully painted.
10 VP if you kill the enemy Warlord.
