The Emerald Mounts Campaign
Prelude
The Red Fields Campaign ground to a halt. The Red Blok command resigned itself to the loss of the Mine and the Spaceport. The Therians seemed satisfied with their successes. The UNA might resume their offensive but, for now, bided their time. Things were quiet.
The combatants turned their joint attention to a new theatre of conflict. This time, though, it would be tougher for them all. They were now joined by two newcomers to the conflict, The Karmans and Okamura Non-aligned Industries. Both were preceded by rumours and conjecture as to their capabilities. Only time and battle would reveal the truth of the rumours.
What were each of them fighting for?
The Therians were intent on furthering their grand plan of transforming every planet in the universe into their personal cyber paradise.
The UNA were as equally intent on thwarting them and spreading freedom throughout the galaxy.
The Red Blok, uneasy allies with the UNA to start with, wanted to bring the joy and peace of collectivist ideology to as many as possible.
The Karmans wished to restore order and equilibrium to the universe and rid it of these unsettling rivalries.
Okamura Non-aligned Industries – ONI for short – didn’t really care what they were fighting for as long as it earned a tidy profit.
These then were the players who would act out the story.
